LOMIK Partner Ministries

One of the things that makes LOMIK Camps & Retreats so special is our commitment to reaching beyond our traditional network and building relationships with new communities. We believe God calls us to open our doors, welcome others, and create opportunities for more children, youth, and families to experience the love of God through camp.

In 2027, we are excited to welcome a wonderful variety of partner ministries to LOMIK! Each brings its own community, gifts, and energy to camp. Together, we share a belief that time outdoors, new adventures, lasting friendships, and growing in faith can make a lasting difference in people’s lives.

At LOMIK, we believe camp is better together! We look forward to welcoming our partners in 2027 and seeing how God works through these relationships to create meaningful experiences, lasting friendships, and wonderful memories. Easter Seals/ARC creates opportunities for individuals with disabilities to enjoy all that camp has to offer, including recreation, community, faith, and time outdoors in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Neighborhood Camp brings children from Wellspring Interfaith, along with their leaders, to experience the fun and adventure of camp. Through new experiences, outdoor exploration, and time together, children build friendships, discover the beauty of God’s creation, and experience God’s love in the welcoming LOMIK community.

We are thankful for each of our partner ministries and the unique ways they help us welcome new people into our camp community. By intentionally reaching beyond our familiar circles, we can build new relationships, strengthen connections across our communities, and create more opportunities for children, youth, and families to experience the joy of camp, the beauty of creation, and the love of God.

Bethel Gilead Day Camp has been bringing children to Lake Luther for many years! Their church brings its own staff and programming to create a day camp experience filled with fun, friendship, faith, and outdoor adventure.

SIMSA (Safe in My Sisters’ Arms) and SIMBA (Safe in My Brothers’ Arms) offers African American young men and women (ages 8-17) a safe space to examine their lives, their choices, and their futures. Based on a rites of passage model and LOMIK camping experiences designed to challenge, encourage, and equip youth from urban communities. Our partnership with both of these ministries gives young people opportunities to experience God’s creation, build relationships, develop confidence, and discover new possibilities.

Radiant Life Church from Sturgis, Michigan is returning to Lake Luther to run its own summer camp. Their team brings its own staff and programming to create a Christ-centered camp experience for the children and youth they serve.

Catholic Youth Camp in the Diocese of Fort Wayne/South Bend brings Catholic youth together for a fun and faith-filled experience at Lutherwald, combining outdoor activities, friendship, prayer, and opportunities to deepen their faith.

Foundation for Arts & Music in Education (FAME) Fine Arts Camp is a week-long residential fine arts camp for talented, artistic students in northern Indiana. This camp presents the FAME cultural focus in dance, drama, music, and art by an outstanding, hand-selected faculty of arts educators. The program offers an opportunity for artistic students to further their current artistic study and to participate in an artist-youth community for a week immersed in Christian hospitality, music, dance, drama, and visual arts. Campers develop their creativity and talents while also enjoying traditional camp activities and the beauty of the outdoors.

Firm Foundations is a congregation from Michigan that brings its youth to LOMIK for their own youth retreat. Their group creates space for young people to strengthen relationships, grow in faith, and enjoy time together away from their everyday routines.

Family Heart Camp creates space for families to slow down, reconnect, and grow together. The camp experience emphasizes healthy relationships, trust, respect, authenticity, and meaningful family connections.
